"Abby Finds a Good Home!" is a book written by and about Abby, one of our former dogs! Well, okay Abby can't actually write, so credit must be given to her "Mom" Karen Zemek for penning this wonderful tail! But Abby was the major contributor to this work of bark! A big thank you goes to Karen and Gerard for sharing this with us and taking the time to chronicle her life. If you would like to preview the book please click on the image at right. If you would like to purchase a copy please click here: Buy "Abby Finds a Good Home!" |

Canine Lifeline recently lost a good friend and supporter, John Pierre Jacquet (Pictured at left with his wife Julie). He, along with his wife, spent countless hours volunteering and helping homeless dogs. He will be greatly missed. His family generously asked that donations be made to Canine Lifeline in John's memory so that we can continue to provide care and medical treatment to deserving homeless dogs. We would like to extend a thank you to the Jacquet family for thinking of us, and to the following people for making donations in his honor: Barb Wible, Jeff & Karen Migchelbrink, Jim Jacquet, Mary Alice Hohing, Bridget & Dan DeMonica, Sharon & Gary Schmidt, Fran Kuchorosky, John & Val Waite, Erica Hay & Jeff Jalkowski, Fran & Lacy Long, Jim & Phyllis Pracker, Barbara Withrow, Lou & Geri Jacquet, Phyllis Umina, and Janice Osborne.
A special Thank You to the following Canine "Lifesavers" for your contributions. Your donations will help with the medical treatment for the dogs in our care.
Canine Lifeline needs your help in many ways. The shelters are full and we are always in need of caring foster homes so that we can help even more dogs in danger of euthanasia. If you are interested in fostering a dog, please send an email to caninelifeline@gmail.com.
Donations of dog food, treats, rawhide chews, blankets, towels, crates, collars/leashes, and Kuranda dog beds are always welcome. If you would like to donate any of these items, please contact us by email.
Many of the dogs that come to us from shelters require veterinary care prior to adoption. Some dogs are heartworm positive and require lifesaving heartworm treatment. Others have injuries that require surgery to repair or ear infections or hair loss that require a trip to the veterinarian. We also provide both heartworm and flea/tick preventative for dogs in our care. All monetary donations to help us help these dogs are greatly appreciated! If you would like to make a donation, please click on the "Donate" button below. Thank you!
